From Selection to Detection Course

This 40 hour class covers how to select and raise puppies to potentially become Detector dogs. We cover Breeder Relationships, Genetics, Puppy Cognition, environmental stability, characteristics to look for that show strong detection potential. We also go over important benchmarks in development from 8 to 12 weeks, 12 to 16 weeks and 6 months to 1 year. We talk about when is a good time to start odor, the importance of compartmentalizing training skills. Our goal is you leave here with a solid plan to select and raise dogs to become great detection dogs.
