Jesi Knight brings nearly 20 years of experience in canine behavior, training, and handler education to her role as K9 Training Manager at Ford K9. Her career began at just 14 years old as an assistant instructor in pet dog obedience, and since then, she has built a deep and diverse foundation across multiple disciplines of dog training.

Jesi holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Wildlife Biology and Organismal Biology and continued her professional development at the renowned Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers. Her excellence in the program earned her a staff position, where she spent four years training and instructing alongside some of the industry’s top professionals.

Her experience spans pet obedience, behavior management, sport dog training, and high-level detection work, including military and law enforcement K9s. Jesi’s approach blends technical expertise with a passion for teaching, allowing her to develop both dogs and their handlers into high-performing teams.

At Ford K9, Jesi leads all aspects of detection K9 training, combining classroom instruction with hands-on fieldwork. Her detail-oriented, adaptive training style ensures consistency, precision, and performance—key to mission success in real-world operations.
